My 2011 Ford f-150 has already been repaired twice in 3 years, now it's stuck again and clicking trying to open. I paid over 800 bucks each time because both mechanics told me they have to disassemble the whole front panel to get to it. and it takes 8 hours of labor to get to it. Are you saying since I have a column shifter that it's easy for me to undo a couple of clips and some screws and I can get to the actuator myself?

Great video! I changed my caliper and the fluid dropped from the line till I pinched it slightly. Put the new caliper on. Did fine at first then the same caliper new caliper started grabbing on way home from work. Thought maybe too much fluid so took a little out. Still same issue. Bled the caliper it did let up so could move the rotor eventually. Pressed on the brake and was able to move the rotor. Hopefully that works. Liked and subscribed. Thanks for the info.

Many thanks for saving me $100. Your video is very thorough with the exception that on my 06 G6 did not have that bracket on top of the oil filter. Oddly enough, I couldn't use the socket. No room. Needless to say, time and patience with an adjustable wrench got the job done. The only odd part was when I took off the old one. It was already loose, and I screwed it with my hand. It wasn't tight at all, leaving me to believe that It was never tightened from the get. And after time it just started to loosen yourself up. Go figure. But your video is very accurate and I appreciate it. Thanks.

I bought my first IR Impact wrench many years ago. It's a 2131 that I used on my tractor, commercial mower and my truck. It got tired eventually and I rebuilt it a few years back and bought the 2235 TiMax at the same time. I still use the 2131 for lighter work, but anything challenging (most everything) gets the 2235 when I'm near my compressor. It's very capable. I've since purchased the 20V W7152 and it's also remarkable...a bit big, but very strong.

I just re-flowed mine with a solder iron and good flux. It’s working perfectly again. I don’t understand how the oven method will do anything to solder that has a melting temp between 500deg and 800deg? Glad it seems to be working and this isn’t the first I’ve heard of it but idk.

Do you have a sound recorder of piston slap?

That resembles the sound I hear. (the heat shield) It sounds like a vibration rattle when I accelerate and after about 5-10 minutes it quiets down.

If you remove the exhaust manifold, you have to loosen the heat shield bolts to line back up with the 6 studs. If not, the HSs act like springs and prevent easy installation. Ask me how I know.

I don’t know what side you are on (front or rear); however, if you are on the rear you need to release the e brake, which would release the pressure and allow the rear wheel to spin. I get that’s not the case here, but it’s something to be made aware of.

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe, a month ago i had the EPS motor coupling element replaced because the steering wheel started producing clucking sound. After the replacement of the coupling element, a brake problem has developed. All the brakes on all wheels are dragging or binding until the car stops and cant be restarted until after maybe 30 mins. What could have been the cause? Is it connected to the replacement of the EPS motor coupling?
